The Krewe of Bon Temps Cabrix Annual Fund Raiser “Goats Gone Wild Poker Run” is being held on Saturday Sept 13, 2025 to share the Krewe spirit with our friends and neighbors on Ono Island.

Poker Run
  • When: Saturday September 13, 2025
  • Registration Deadline: Thursday September 11, 2025
  • Time: See Location opening hours below, Party/Poker Playoff 5:00pm
  • Transportation: The run is designed to participate by boat but cars are acceptable
  • Teams: Captain must be an Ono Island resident, minimum 2 – maximum 8 members
  • Poker Cards:
      1) Each team will receive a Poker Run Stamp Card that will be stamped at each location by the Location Dealer
      2) The team Captain will be responsible for submitting the Poker Run Stamp Card at the Poker Run Playoff
      3) Each stamp received by the team will be exchanged for a card in the Poker Playoff
  • Signs: Each Team must have a sign with the team name, and must be displayed on the team table at the Poker Run Party
  • Photos: Each Team must have a photo taken consisting of their team, sign and boat and uploaded to https://bontempscabrix.com/poker-run-photos/
  • Participation Waivers:
      1) Attendees must each submit a Poker Run Participation Waiver

  • Entry Fees: $35 per team member
  • Winning Team Prize: $500 cash
  • Team Suggestions: Make it fun! Have a unique team name and team shirts/costume!
  • Locations for Poker Run with opening Times:
      1) Our King and Queen’s Dock (Johnny and Lawanna Sharpless) at Point Ono at east end of Ono island. It will be decorated and can’t be missed. 10:00AM
      2) Flora-Bama Yacht Club (Ole River) 11:00AM
      3) Tacky Jack’s (Cotton Bayou) 7:00AM
      4) Zeke’s (Cotton Bayou) 11:00AM
      5) Tiki & Raw Bar by Barometer (Sportman’s) 11:00AM
      6) Avenue Pub (Terry’s Cove) 11:00AM
      7) OSO At Bear Point (Perdido Key) 11:00AM

  • Drink: Cash Bar Tickets $5 each or 5 for $20 – Beer, Wine, Cocktails
  • Food: Hamburgers & Hotdogs provided, bring an Appetizer or Dessert to share if you can
  • Fees: Included with your Poker Run Entry Fee or $35 per member/guest Party Only
  • Drawings:  Fishing charters for 6, boating items, gift certificates and many more items raffled off, please bring cash.
  1. A QUALIFIED team is a Team that all members have registered on-line, have submitted waivers, have paid all fees in-full, and have poker stamps from at least 5 of the 7 locations on the day of the event.
  2. Each team will check in and submit their poker stamps at Admiral’s desk at the HCC Ono Island starting at 5:00PM on the day of the event.
  3. Each Team having visited a minimum of 5 of the 7 locations will be eligible to play in the Poker Run Playoff.
  4. Team check-in at the HCC will close at 6:00PM, any Team not checked-in by 6:00PM will be disqualified.
  5. The Poker Run Playoff will begin promptly at 7:00PM.
  6. Once the Admiral has verified the team is in fact QUALIFIED, the Admiral will send each team’s Captain to the Poker Run Playoff Table.
  7. The Admiral will hand over the listing all qualified teams to the Poker Run Dealer and the Table Games will begin.
  1. Each Captain will be dealt the number of cards equal to the number of locations verified by the location stamps submitted face down
  2. Captains will be given one chance to analyze their hand and will be able to purchase up to five (5) “exchange cards” at a price of $25 donation each or 5 for $100
  3. Each Captain will then play their best 5 cards in a “Poker Run Playoff” and the best hand will win!
  4. The winning team will take home the $500 CASH PRIZE
  5. The winning team Captain will be responsible for dividing the Prize money among its members
  6. In the event of a tie, the Dealer will deal 1 card to each Captain until the tie is broken

This year the Team Captain will register ALL of their team members, whether they are Ono residents, invited guests or are Bon Temps Cabrix Krewe members. Each Team Captain will be responsible for the total fee payment to the Krewe of Bon Temps Cabrix.

You must complete the full name, email address and phone number for each Team member before submitting!

In order to complete your registration, you must submit your payment for all team members ($35 each) by check. Please make your check out to "Bon Temps Cabrix" then place it in an envelope labeled the same and deposit in the Ono House Drop Box
